MotorWeek Marvels at the Excellent 2017 Ford Explorer

Has your new-car search ultimately led you to the full-size SUV segment? Well, if so, we here at Macdonald Motors Auto Group think you might like to have a good look at one of ours, the 2017 Ford Explorer.

And why is that?

Please allow the pundits over at MotorWeek an opportunity to explain. Their assessment of the Explorer can be viewed right here:

While we've love for every one of the Explorer's engine options, we'd argue that the mid-level 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder may well be the best of the bunch!

Optional on the Base and XLT models, this turbo-four twists out a terrific 280 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard, as is front-wheel drive; all-wheel drive, meanwhile, is offered as an option.

Better still, this engine is also the gas-sipper of the Explorer range. When had in front-drive form, for example, it'll achieve an impressive 22 mpg combined (19 city/28 highway).

If you'd like to learn more about this uncompromising crossover, or wish to get behind the wheel of one, we encourage you to drop by our Conway, NH dealership. Our automotive experts are ready to answer your every question about the Explorer, or any other Ford model within the present portfolio.
